Thomson - Mr. George Edward “Eddie" Marsh, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
He was born and raised in Mitchell, Ga., September 18, 1960, to the late Virginia (Faye) Lampp.
Eddie attended Glascock County Schools and later worked at Jebco in Warrenton, Ga., for 40 years
Eddie loved hunting and fishing until the end. Special thanks to Robbie Brunner and Gene Sherer for letting him spend his final days fishing at their ponds.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Faye Lampp and brother, Mike Johnson.
His survivors include his wife of 30 plus years, Lisa Renee Marsh; his children, Allan (Ashley) Marsh, Dylan (Kathrine) Marsh, and Daniel (Krystale) Montgomery; his precious grandchildren, Drake, Murphy, Kate, Rowdy, Riley, Ryder, and Amy; his sister, Trish (James) Farr; and uncle, Randy Pearson.
Special thanks to the Heartland Hospice team, especially his loving nurse, Dana Edwards.
Visitation will be at 10 am, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Curtis Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11 am in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Pastor David Kitchens officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Marsh, Drake Marsh, Allan Marsh, Danny Reese, Robert Kitchens, and Todd Ivey.
