Gladys (Usry) Land

Graniteville, S.C.- Mrs. Gladys U. Land, 87, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2026, in the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church, with Dr. Randy Dunaway and Rev Jerry Rockefeller officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church in Mitchell Ga.

Mrs. Land was born in Glascock County. She lived in Thomson Ga. and Graniteville for many years. She was a retired Cosmetologist, having received her degree from Augusta Tech. She had also studied at Aiken Tech. She was a member of the Langley Church of God.

Survivors include her three sons, Wayne (Linda) Warren, Thomson, Rick (Shirley) Warren, Yulee, Fl., and Dave (Shamberlie) Dotson, Winfield, Al; her 10 grandchildren and her 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Usry, Ronnie Brooks, Corey Hall, Axel Hall, Aaron Belangia, and Billy Kitchens.

There will be no visitation at the funeral. The family will receive friends prior to services at the Church on Monday.
