Grady Gay

Thomson - Mr. Grady Gay, 73, beloved husband of Mrs. Wanda H. Gay, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in the Azalea Health & Rehab Facility in Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, in the Iron Hill Advent  Christian Church Cemetery, with Brother M. L. Barber officiating.

Mr. Gay was a native of Jefferson County, but had lived in Dearing for many years. He was retired from the construction business. He was a Marine veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Iron Hill Advent Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Gay, 3 brothers, Theodore, Ben and Frank. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Gay, Dearing; 4 daughters, Tonya Sanders, Clearwater, Fl., Tina Bracknell, Tn, Pam Gwinn and Kimberly Phillips, both of Augusta; 2 stepdaughters, Kay Phillips, Texas, and Toni Lane, Jackson, Ga.; and 2 stepsons, Tim Smith, Dearing,  and Wendell Peebles; and numerous grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
