Grover "G.P." Paul

Thomson - Mr. Grover “G.P.” Paul, Jr. died Sunday, April 4, 2021, in the University / McDuffie Hospital.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Brown officiating.

Mr. Paul was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was a 1965 graduate of Thomson High School. He attended Augusta College, was a Navy Veteran, was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and attended Victory Baptist Church. He was a salesman, having been a Sales Rep. for Dale Carnegie and Bristol-Myers. He was the owner & operator of Paul’s Popular Products. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Gibson and Norma Paul. Survivors include his son, Dr. Travis Paul (Tracy), Bay Minette Al.; and his two granddaughters, Madeline and Maggie Paul, both of Bay Minette, Al.

The family requests that donations be made to the McDuffie County Animal Shelter, 802 Whiteoak Road, Thomson Ga. 30824.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
