Obituary
Thomson - Mrs. Henrietta Benning Gay, 84, beloved wife of the late Herman Gay, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Frank Richardson officiating.
Mrs. Gay was born in Columbia County and had resided in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband and her son, John Ray Gay. Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda (Danny) Richardson, Mary Ann (late L.G.) Phillips and Kimberly (late Marc) Williford; her son, Freddie Gay, Sr. (Sativa Sturkey); eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
