Henry Carroll "Pete" Franklin, Sr.

Grovetown - Mr. Henry Carroll “Pete” Franklin Sr., beloved husband of Mrs. Aurella Franklin, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the University / Augusta Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020, in the inMOTION Church with Rev. Chuck Gordon officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, with Full Military Honors.

Mr. Franklin was a native of Augusta Ga., but had lived in Grovetown for several years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of the inMOTION Church of Thomson.

He was preceded in death by his son, Henry Carroll Franklin, Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Aurella Franklin, Grovetown; his son, Rev. Scott (Regina) Franklin, Thomson; his sister, Billie Jean Crawford, Huntsville, AL; and his three grandchildren, Charlene Franklin, Charis Franklin, and Micah Franklin.

Memorial donations may be made to inMOTION Church.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday night at the church, prior to services.
