Camak - Mr. Henry L. McKuhen, 77, beloved husband of Mrs. Shirley M. McKuhen, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Young, Rev. Jesse Bowen, and Rev. Bill South officiating. Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Ronald E. Young officiating.
Mr. McKuhen was born in Garfield, Ga., and had lived in Camak for many years. He was an Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired Heavy Equipment operator, having worked at the Savannah River Plant. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Camak.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley M. McKuhen, Camak; his two daughters, Stacey (Allen) Troy, Camak and Connie (Gary) Davis, Pooler Ga.; his 6 grandchildren, A.J. Troy (Taylor), Micah Troy (Carrie Ann), Hope Troy, Joy Troy, Grace Troy, and Stephanie Norris; and his two great-grandchildren, Carson Troy and Keegan Troy.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Johnson, D.J. Sheppard, Larry May, Anthony Curley, Timothy South, Robert South, Jared Bowen, and Jacob Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Stewart, Danny Conner, and Ricky Conner.
Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
