James Edward Bennett

Warrenton - Mr. James Edward Bennett, Sr., 86,beloved husband of Mrs. Marion Bennett, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in the Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Bennett was a native of Brighton, Mass., but had lived in Thomson and now Warrenton for many years. He was a retired Veteran from the United States Air Force. He was Roman Catholic by Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marion L. Bennett, Warrenton; his daughter, Dawn Marie Bennett, Warrenton; his two sons, James Edward Bennett, Jr., Thomson and Daren Michael Bennett, Port St. Lucie, Fl.; his sister, Diane Smith, Searsport, Maine; his brother, William Bennett, Wilmington, N.C.; and his 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
