James T. Foster

Dearing- Mr. James T. Foster, 79, widower of Mrs. Myrtis Foster, died Monday, December 1, 2025, in the Piedmont / McDuffie Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Justin Epley officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Chapel Cemetery in Dearing.

Mr. Foster was born in Wilkes County, and was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was retired from being a sheet rocker and general handyman. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his two sisters, Mrs. Leona (Lloyd) Axon, Dearing, and Mrs. Brenda Anderson, Thomson; nephew and special friend, Billy Wells, Milledgeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to services on Thursday.
