Warrenton - Mr. James R. Kitchens, 69, beloved husband of Mrs. Cindy Kitchens, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the Piedmont / Augusta Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Westview cemetery, with Dr. Randy Dunaway officiating.
Mr. Kitchens was a native of Jefferson County, but had lived in Warrenton for many years. He was retired after 45 years of service from Georgia-Pacific, as a dry Kiln operator. He was a member of the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Kitchens, Warrenton; his son, Brad (Beverly) Kitchens, Warrenton; his mother, Mrs. Janis Kitchens, Stapleton; his two sisters, Debra Kitchens, Stapleton and Robbie Randolph, Thomson ; his brother, Donald (Belinda) Kitchens, Stapleton; and his three grandchildren, Hannah Kitchens (Matthew Welch), Bradley Kitchens, and Alli Kitchens, all of Warrenton.
Friends may call at the residence of Brad Kitchens or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends after the services at the cemetery.
