Jason Adam Whitaker, Sr.

Augusta – Mr. Jason Adam Whitaker, Sr., age 39 died on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Emory University Hospital, in Atlanta.

A memorial service will held at 2:30 PM on Sunday August 14, 2022, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.

Mr. Whitaker was born June 8, 1983 in Augusta, Georgia. He was a graduate of Hephzibah High School, Class of 2002.  He loved Georgia Saturdays and making people laugh.

He is survived by his parents, John and Tammye Pope, Harlem; three children, Jason A. Whitaker, Jr. (17), Faith Whitaker (14) and Hailey Whitaker (12); three sisters, Winter Lindemuth (Charles) and Jennifer Sanders, both of Augusta, and Sarah Pope, Metter; two brothers, John Pope, Jr., Jesup and Johnathon Pope, Harlem; several nieces and nephews; and his final partner, Tiffany (TJ) Johnson, who along with her loving family (Jaidyn, Joyce, and Tony)  loved and cared for him while he battled Castleman's Disease for these past two years.
