Jeanie L. (Barnes) Reese

Thomson- Mrs. Jeanie Reese, 75, Beloved wife of 58 years of Mr. Herbert Reese, died Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the Pruitt Healthcare in Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, the Westview Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.

Mrs. Reese was born in Redlands, Ca., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a Homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Diamond and Helen Barnes, and her son, Richard Reese. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Reese, Thomson; her two sons, Donnie (Penny) Reese and David Wayne Reese, both of Thomson; and her three brothers, Kenneth Barnes, Kerry Barnes, and Terry Barnes; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

No visitation is planned.
