Jerry Thompson Obituary

Jerry Wayne Thompson, 73, loving husband of Jeryl Thompson for 50 years, passed away on Sunday, March 10, after a long battle with cancer.

Jerry attended Cross Keys High School, Georgia State University, and Mercer Southern School of Pharmacy, where he graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Joel (Carson), two grandsons, Wallis and Salter, and his sister Joy Pardee. His grandsons were his whole world. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeremy Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 16th at 11am at Norwood Community Church in Norwood, GA. Family and friends will be received following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Please dress casually-no ties allowed.

His family wishes to thank family, friends, and medical personnel for all the love, support, and prayers, especially Heartland Hospice for their help during his final days.
