Thomson- Ms. Jessica Dodson, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the Wellstar Medical Facility in Augusta, Ga.

Ms. Dodson was born in Channel View, Texas, but had lived in Dearing for many years. She was a caregiver for many different people.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Brooks; her two sons, Chase Brooks and Blake Brooks; her grandson, Asher Brooks; her mother, Deborah Hawkins; her sister, Sativa Sturkey; her two step brothers, Jason Hawkins and Juston Hawkins; her half sister, Starla Green; and several nieces and nephews.
