Joe Lentz

Augusta - Mr. Joseph "Joe” Ronald Lentz, 80, beloved husband of Mrs. Donna N. Lentz, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Lentz was born in Newport News, Va., but had made Augusta his home for many years. He was retired from the Construction Industry. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Donna Newman Lentz, of Augusta; his two sons, Joseph Ronald “Ronnie” Lentz Jr (Diane), Brian Lentz (Edna); his daughter, Joan Young (Harry); brothers, David Lentz (Debbie), Raymond Lentz (PJ) and Jim Young (Sandy); sisters Rita Powell (John), Sylvia Lentz-Garver and Susan Lentz-Dyszkewicz; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 in the Westview Cemetery in Augusta, with Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.

Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the graveside.
