Thomson- Mr. John F. Legander Jr., was born on December 8, 1958 in Camden N.J. He passed away June 24, 2021 in the University / Augusta Hospital.
Per Mr. Legander’s request, there will be no services or visitation
John was a former U.S. Marine. He also worked for many years with Mrs. Paul’s and Campbell Soup. He was an active member of the AMA. John had a Love for model airplanes, as did his father. He was the son of John F. Legander Sr. and Patricia Legander.
He was preceded in death by both parents and two sisters, Barbara Woods and Patty Akers and his son, Vincent Scott Legander.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Legander; his daughter, Laurie (Jeff) Herndon, his son, John F. Legander III; his grandchildren, Kristen Gillis, Tyler Legander, Savannah Legander, Megan (Ty) Mason, Hunter Legander, Jonathan Whitaker, Angelina Herndon, and Kevin Herndon; his great-grandchildren, Lucas Tyler Mason, and Kelsey Christine Lynn Gillis, and two on the way; his Cousin, Donna Poli.
John was loved by all the above people and many, many more. He will be missed forever, especially by his daughter. She loved her daddy.
