John Thomas McGahee

Dearing - Mr. John T. McGahee, 93, beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth McGahee, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his son’s residence in Ridge Spring, S.C.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev David Young officiating.

Mr. McGahee was a native of Augusta, Georgia, but had lived in Dearing for many years. He was a retired mason and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Harlem.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth McGahee, Dearing; his son, Ricky McGahee, Ridge Spring; his brother, Talmadge McGahee, Dearing; his 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends after the services on Wednesday at the cemetery.
