Thomson - Julian Frank “Cotton” Reville, 90, beloved husband, father, grandfather and dearest friend, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2023, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Thomson.
He was the son of Alex and Dorothy Reville. He had lived in Thomson all his life and graduated from Thomson High School in 1951, where he was a multi-sport athlete. He served in the local unit of the Georgia National Guard. He married Helen Phillips of Dearing and raised three children, who revered and respected him as a great father. He worked at Kingsley Mill and retired with 44 years of dedicated service. He attended Pine Grove Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising cattle and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Donald, Al and Ralph Reville. He leaves behind his wife of sixty plus years; his children, Michael (Connie Meier) Reville, Kingsland, GA, David (Karen) Reville, Appling, GA, and Kim (Terry) McCord, Thomson, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie (Cole) Madison, Marinez, GA, Davis Reville, Harlem, GA, Katherine (Dylan) Marsh, Thomson, GA, and Dallas (Jon) Yates, Thomson, GA; and great-granddaughter, Riley Marsh.
Pallbearers will be Bubber Conner, Chuck Cannon, Danny Conner, Cole Madison, Dylan Marsh, Davis Reville and Jon Kitchens.
