Kathy (Hall) Smith

Warrenton- Mrs. Kathy Hall Smith, 66, Beloved wife of Mr. Cecil “Sonny” Smith, died Friday, September 6, 2019 in Doctors Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William Joel Hall and Carolyn Thomas Hall.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from noon to 1.

Mrs. Smith was a native of Richmond County, but had lived in Mesena and Warrenton for all her life. She was a member of Mesena United Methodist Church. She was a Para-Pro  with the McDuffie County Schools and had worked at the Georgia Forestry Commission.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Cecil “Sonny” Smith, Warrenton; her daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Allen, Augusta; her son, Mr. Zachary Smith, Ft. Polk, La.; her two sisters, Gwen Adkins and Penny Hall, both of Mesena; her brother, Mr. Joey Hall, Beech Island, S.C.; and her grandson, Atom Allen.
