Thomson - Mr. Kenneth Lee Kyzer, 71, went home to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Kenneth was born in Augusta, GA and lived most of his life in Thomson, GA. After graduating Thomson High School in 1972, he worked at the Thomson Company until it went out of business and retired from GA DDS at 62 years of age.
He loved traveling, shopping, gardening, and football. He didn’t miss a chance to go watch the Thomson Bulldogs play at the Brickyard, but if he did, he was sure to listen to the game on the radio. He also spent many a Saturday watching the Georgia Bulldogs on TV. Most of all he loved his family and friends.
Survivors include a devoted friend, Jim Toney and Dog, Gracie; his sister, Teresa Usry (Mark); nieces, Danielle Sauls and Lauren Howard (Adam); his first cousins, John Hobbs (Vickie), Kathy Dupree; and special cousin, Kelly Gunby (Joe).
Extended family all who he loved and loved them as his own. Jeff Toney (Kim), Kaisha Keller (Jonathan), Michael Coughlin (Callie), Savannah Coughlin, and Jais Norman (Rosie)
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
