Myrtle Beach - Leila Poss Johnson Nunnally, 89, went home to be with Lord, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
She is survived by her two sons, Barry Wayne (Sherry) Johnson, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and William Warren (Jenny) Johnson, Augusta; three grandchildren, Travis Wayne Johnson, Myrtle Beach, Justin Christopher (Janelle) Hall, Chapel Hill, Pa., and Candace Nicole (Tyler) Schumann, N. Augusta, S.C.; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Bay Johnson and Ryleigh Renee Johnson, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Carter Schumann, N. Augusta S.C. ; one son-in-law, Dann Victor Hall, Cougan Station, Pa.; two sisters, Annette (Fulton) Thigpen, Norwood, and Helen Phillips, Martinez; one sister-in-law, Pat Poss, Thomson; three stepdaughters, Martha (Joe) Royal, Joan White, and Kathy Nunnally; six step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; 6 step-great- great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Fay Smith; a friend for over 70 years Geraldine Portwood Clark, Stone Mountain; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Terrell Johnson and William Arther Nunnally; her daughter, Judy Johnson Hall; her parents, four brothers, two sister-in-laws, step son-in-law, Billy White, and step grandchild, Phillis Berry, both of Winder.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2023, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Dr. David Lambert officiating.
She was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church, and the Agape Sunday School Class.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Travis Johnson, Justin Hall, Louis Poss, Danny Harrison, Dann Hall, B.J. Elum, Kenny Hobbs, and Jeff Byrd.
