Leonard Grady Phillips, Jr.

Camak- Mr. Leonard G. Phillips, Jr., 63, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Ann Phillips, died Friday, April 23, 2021, in the University / Augusta Hospital

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Phillips was born in Augusta, but had lived in Thomson and Camak . He was a welder and a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Grady Phillips, Sr. and Eulaween Phillips, his brother, Kenneth Phillips, and his daughter, Shirley Hall. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Phillips; his children, Freddie Gay Sr., Joseph Hall, and Ginny Lynn Phillips; his grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Joshua Keller, Karie Keller Destiny Hall, Jacob Phillips, and Freddie Gay, Jr.; and 6 great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home, but respects may be made at the home of Mrs. Henrietta Gay, 623 Ware Street, Thomson.
