Lucille (Henderson) Sims

Thomson- Mrs. Lucille Sims, 96, widow of Mr. Warren Sims, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, in the Thomson Health & Rehab Facility.

Due to Covid 19 concerns, a private graveside service for family only will be held in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Sims was a native of Greenwood, S.C., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Thomson First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Tanner, Thomson, and Barbara Hogan, Boneville; her two sons, Wayne (Cheryl) Sims and Butch (Tina) Sims, both of Thomson; her sister, Doris Faircloth, Thomasville, Ga.; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
