Maggie R. Anderson

Harlem - Mrs. Maggie Reese Anderson, 87, widow of Mr. Edward “Bud” Anderson, died Friday, April 22, 2022, in the Lake Crossing Nursing Facility, Appling, Ga. 

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2022, in the Marshall Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Butch Baston officiating.

Mrs. Anderson was a native of McDuffie Co, but had lived in Columbia County for many years. She was a retired sales clerk. She was a member of the Philadelphia United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Alan) Coleman, Harlem; her son, Mike (Wanda) Anderson, Harlem; her two sisters, Azalia Newsome and Gloria Butler, both of Thomson; her four brothers, Henry Reese, Billy Reese, Bobby Reese, and Johnny Reese, all of Thomson; her four grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at Marshall Baptist Church.
