Maggie (Hammett) Wilkerson

Thomson- Mrs. Maggie H. Wilkerson, 86, widow of Mr. W.G. Wilkerson, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in the Grove Baptist Church, Grovetown, with Rev. Sonny Serigney officiating.  Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wilkerson was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Columbia County for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grove Baptist Church in Grovetown.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy Wilkerson, Grovetown, and Debora (Marvin) Watts, Tiger, Ga.; her two sons, Sidney W. Wilkerson (Gloria), Cumming, Ga., and Chuck L. Wilkerson, Ellaville, Ga.; her 10 grandchildren and her 19 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church.
