Margie A. (Axon) Reeves

Thomson- Mrs. Margie A. Reeves, 95, widow of Mr. Lindsey J. Reeves, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in the Thomson Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Bobby Farmer and Larron Pilgrim officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Reeves was a native of McDuffie County all her life. She was homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Reeves was an active member of Thomson Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lindsey J. Reeves and a son, Nelson Reeves, Augusta. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.F. Axon of Dearing. Survivors include her son, Lynn J. Reeves (Martha), one grandson, Dewayne Reeves (Ann Marie), Phoenix Az.; and two brothers, Carl Axon (Shirley), Boneville, and Richard Axon (Nettie), Sylvester, Ga.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 prior to services.
