Marjorie N. (Newsome) Dalton

Thomson - Mrs. Marjorie N. Dalton, 94, widow of Mr. Arcie Dalton, died Thursday, March 12, 2020, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Dalton was a native of Jefferson Co., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include 5 nieces, Kathryn Hunt, Evelyn Faircloth, Jeanette Whitaker, Marjorie Pike, and Virginia Sibley; 2 nephews, John “Bo” Newsome and James Sellers; several great-nieces and nephews; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Annette Key.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday night, at the funeral home.
