Mary Ruth Chastain

Thomson – Ms. Mary Ruth Chastain, 85, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021 in Washington Heights Baptist Church, Thomson, with Rev. Doug Thompson and Rev. Jon Richards officiating.  Interment will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.  Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, face masks and social distancing procedures will be observed.

Ms. Chastain was a native of Keysville, GA, but had made her home in Thomson.  She was an inspector for Milliken / Kingsley Mill and a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Gary) Williams, Dearing; grandchildren, Joey (April) Williams, Dearing and Kelli (Heath) Rogers, Harlem; and six great-grandchildren, Destiny Williams, Sierra Williams, Jason High, Connor Williams, Keegan Rogers and Kamden Rogers.

Visitation is to be at the Curtis Funeral Home from 3 to 5 pm this Sunday, January 31, 2021.
