Dunwoody - Mrs. Mary Helen Langford, 89, widow of Mr. Douglas D. Langford, Sr., died Friday, October 13, 2023, in the Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody Assisted living Facility.
Graveside services will be Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., in the Westview Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.
Mrs. Langford was a native of Carroll County, Georgia, but had lived in Thomson Ga. for many years before moving to the Atlanta / Dunwoody area. She was retired from Belk’s, where she was a Buyer and also worked in the Accounting office. She was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas D. Langford, Sr., and her son, Douglas D. Langford, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Susan (Felipe) Den Brok, Atlanta, and Mrs. Gail (David) Johnson, Thomson; her son, Tim Langford, Atlanta; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Curtis Funeral Home.
