Dearing - Mrs. Pamela Sue Johnson, 67. Beloved wife of Mr. Wayne Johnson, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Wellstar Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, Georgia.
Graveside services will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born in McDuffie County and lived in Dearing, Georgia. Her calling as a mother was discovered as a young woman, into which the love for her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren had no bounds. A modest woman, Mrs. Johnson enjoyed the pleasures of preparing a home cooked meal, a warm Mountain Dew cake, or a glass of tea for her family. Her love of a hot cup of coffee was second only to the warm conversations had over them. When time was afforded from being the lady of her house, Mrs. Pam sought after the joy of a fishing trip, especially with her loved ones. The love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was instilled in all of those that she had a hand in raising. Though her body has perished, the essence of her memory will pass on in those that were near and dear to her. Her spirit is the Lord’s to keep.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Learod Hadden (Father), Ralph Armstrong (Step-father), Barbara Key Armstrong (Mother), and her brothers, Kenny Hadden, Jimmy Hadden, and Donnie Hadden. Survivors include her sons, Heath Mills, James Vaughn and Zachary Johnson; her daughter, Daphne Palmer; her brothers, Bobby Gene Hadden, Robbie Hadden, and Jesse Hadden; her grandchildren, Jeremy Mills, Brandon Martin, Kyle Martin, Chelsey Palmer, Kenny Palmer, Karsen Morris, Kendal Ann Morris and Hendrix Vaughn; and great-grandchildren, Ayden Palmer, Liam Martin and Waylon Mills.
