Pamela "Pam" (McBrayer) Gilmer

Evans- Mrs. Pamela “Pam” Gilmer, 78, beloved wife of Mr. Richard Gilmer, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Chapel of Augusta, with Rev. Laura Shearer and Rev Jack Maguire officiating.

Mrs. Gilmer was born in Augusta, but grew up in Warrenton. She graduated from Warrenton High School, Brenau College and completed her education at Augusta College, where she obtained her Masters Degree. She had retired as an Educator. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Richard Gilmer, Evans; and her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Bill Reese, Thomson.

The family will receive friends in the Atrium of First Baptist Augusta from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday prior to services.
