Penny (Howell) Chaney

Dearing- Ms. Penny Chaney, 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Piedmont / McDuffie Hospital.

No services are planned. The family will have a visitation on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Curtis Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m.

Ms. Chaney was a native of Augusta Georgia, but had lived in Dearing for many years. She was a Homemaker.

Survivors include her three daughters, Melissa (Jim) Arrington, Wrens, Kimberly (Alex) Starks, Greenwood S.C., and Suzanne Moon, N.C.; her son, Stanley Chaney, Rayle ; her two brothers, James (Nicki) Howell and Carl Howell, both of Thomson; her 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and her companion, Robert Beckum.
