Dearing- Mr. Ralph Douglas “Doug” Davis, 60 passed away at his residence, Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2024, in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery with Rev Frank Thigpen officiating.
Mr. Davis was born in Augusta, but lived in Dearing his entire life. He was a Carpenter, a member of Local 283, and worked at the Savannah River Plant. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Luckey Shot Hunting Club. He loved his family and was a member of the Dearing United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Carrie Davis. Survivors include his brother, Wallace “Wally” (Angela) Davis, Dearing; his nephew, Matthew (Jessica) Davis and their children, Dearing; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the cemetery.
