Mr. Johnson was a native of Newfoundland. He grew up in Warren County and lived in the Augusta Area for many years. He was a painter and a musician. He was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Foster, Thomson; his granddaughter, Madyson Foster; his sister, Janie Ewest; and his 3 brothers, Earl Johnson, Jimmy Ewest, and Sonny Ewest.
