Randy James Pearson

Thomson- Mr. Randy Pearson, 76, widower of Mrs. Barbara Hale Pearson, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 in the Wellstar Hospital Facility in Augusta.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Harlem, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Pearson was born in Warren County and had made his home in Thomson for many years. He was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hale Pearson; his parents, Bartow  and Essie Pearson; his two brothers, Harvey Pearson and Wesley Pearson; and his two sisters, Faye Lampp and Elaine Wells. Survivors include his daughter, Alicia (Howie Kersey) Hohlwein; his son, Michael (Janet) Key; his 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Allen, Billy Johnson Jr., Jerry Randolph, George Holliman, David McKenzie, and Clay Marsh.

Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
