Thomson- Mr. Ray C. Hunnicutt, 88, beloved husband of Mrs. June Hunnicutt, died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the At Home Senior Living Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the Thomson Church of God, with Rev. Bobby Farmer and Rev. Faye Burgamy officiating. Burial will be in the Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hunnicutt was a native of Glascock County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired Finance Manager. He was a member of the Thomson Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. June Hunnicutt, Thomson; his three daughters, Elaine Hulsey, Thomson, Debbie (Alan) Holley, Wrens, and Karen Hunnicutt, Thomson; his 7 grandchildren, Adam (Lori) Holley, Amy (Bryan) Rabun, Tyler (Emily) Godbee, Kyle (Sara Betts) Godbee, Jamie (Justin) Simmons, Christy (John) Hulsey, and Jody Hulsey; his 16 great-grandchildren and his 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Adam Holley, Tyler Godbee, Kyle Godbee, Bryan Rabun, Wyatt Simmons, and Collin Simmons.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the Thomson Church of God.
