Stan "Ikey" Amerson

Grovetown- Mr. Stan “Ikey” Amerson, 80, Beloved husband of Mrs. Margie Ray Amerson, died Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his residence. 

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Dr. Rick Smith officiating.

Mr. Amerson was born in Augusta and had resided in Grovetown for many years. He was retired from the International Paper Company as the Maintenance Supervisor.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margie Amerson, Grovetown; his daughter, Mrs. Shawn (Sam) Pack, Atlanta; his son, Dr. Rod (Marvina) Amerson, Mathews, Al.; and his three grandchildren, Mr. Kyle (Shelley) Amerson, Clearwater, Fl., Mrs. Jordan (Matthew) Boring, Tampa, Fl, and Mr. Ryan Amerson, Mathews Al.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
