Obituary
Dearing - Mr. Talmadge McGahee, 90, died Sunday, July 30, 2023, at his daughter’s residence.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in Adams Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. McGahee was a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was a retired Brick Mason. He was a member of the Fort Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Sharon (Calaway) Workman, Dearing; his grandson, David (Ashley) Workman, Dearing; and his three great-grandchildren, Morgan Workman, Walker Workman, and Trey Blevins.
Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
