Terry Dean Hayes

Mr. Terry Dean Hayes, 73, beloved husband of Mrs. Carol Guy Hayes, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the Piedmont / Augusta Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Randy Dunaway officiating.

Mr. Hayes was a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He was retired from the Reeves Construction Company, as an Asphalt Plant Manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Lee and Louise Parris Hayes; his three siblings, James T. Ray, Patricia Stewart, and Barry Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carol G. Hayes, Thomson; his son, Chris (Kristie) Hayes, Thomson; his daughter, Savannah Hayes; his 5 grandchildren, Ivy Hayes, Destiny Hayes, Kassidy Hayes, Cheyeann Hayes, and Waylon Hayes; and his great-granddaughter, Landon Postell.

Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
