Dearing - Mrs. Iris Virginia Webb, 96, widow of Mr. William Webb, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, in the Thomson Health & Rehabilitation Facility.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in the Faith Baptist Church, with Dr. Don Widener and Rev. Chad Widener officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Baptist Church.
Born 12/18/1928, Virginia was the daughter of the late Willie Rebecca Kitchens Dye and Silas Martin Dye. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Webb and by a son, Martin Loper. She is survived by her daughter, Iris Sewell (Rick), her son Bill Loper (Alice), and daughter-in-law, Becky Loper Huff. She is also survived by grandchildren; Dwayne Sewell (Angie), Jenny Campbell (Kevin), Jacob Loper (Janay), and Daniel Loper (Jennifer). Great-grandchildren include Tyler Sewell, Will Campbell (Amber), Brittany Flakes (John), and Jayda Loper. Great-great-grandchildren include Jadyn Campbell, Kai Sapp, Asher Campbell, and Aubryn Campbell.
