Wilma H. (Adams) Duckworth

Thomson - Mrs. Wilma Duckworth, 96, widow of Mr. G.B. Duckworth, died Thursday, August 17, 2023, in the Harrington Place, in Augusta.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2023, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Phil Pilgrim officiating.

Mrs. Duckworth was born in Franklin, Ga., but had made her home in Thomson for many years. She was a Homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. G.B. Duckworth and her daughter Ms. Brenda Jones. Survivors include her two daughters, Pat Baston, Thomson, and Gail (Gary) Emberling, Pottsboro, Tx.; her sons, Bobby (Pam) Awbrey, Newnan, Tommy Duckworth (Pam) and Terry Duckworth (Jean); 7 Grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren

Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2023 prior to services.
